When do tickets go on sale? For the Fall Play, our online ticketing system goes live at 8am on November 1. The platform will remain open until 3 hours before each performance. For the Spring Musical, our online ticketing system goes live at 8am on March 1. The platform will remain open until 3 hours before each performance.
-
Are tickets assigned seats?Typically, our fall play tickets are general admission and patrons can sit wherever they'd like in the auditorium. For our spring musical, tickets are assigned to specific seats at the time of purchase.
-
Can I sit with my friends and family? For the spring musical, tickets are assigned to specific seats. To ensure that you secure seats with the rest of your party, we recommend purchasing tickets for your entire party together so you can coordinate the seating.
-
What age is considered "senior"?We generally consider patrons 65+ for the senior ticket price.
-
Does my toddler need a ticket? All students K-12 need a ticket. For the Fall Play, families can choose a free pre-schooler ticket option when purchasing. For the Spring Musical, Pre-schoolers, if they are sitting on the lap of a ticketholder, do not need a ticket. However, if they are going to sit in their own seat, you will need to purchase a student ticket for them
-
Do I need to print my tickets? If you've purchased online, you can present your tickets to our ushers as a hard copy or on your device. If you have your tickets already, proceed directly to the auditorium doors; there's no need to wait at the box office!
-
What is the layout of your auditorium?
-
What if I accidentally purchased tickets for the wrong date? All of our ticketing is done through the platform ShowTix4u (now rebranded as cur8. The people at the box office or NAHS generally cannot help with exchanges or refunds. If you are having a problem with tickets, please go to cur8.com and schedule a phone call with them.
-
Can I pay with Credit Card?Using our online ticketing platform, you can purchase tickets with a credit card up until 3 hours before each performance. Please note, if you're purchasing tickets at the box office on a show night, we can only accept CASH or CHECK.
-
Can I purchase tickets "at the door"?The box office will open for in-person sales one hour before each performance. Please note, if you're purchasing tickets at the box office on a show night, we can only accept CASH or CHECK.
-
Can I choose my seats "at the door"?When the box office is open before a performance, our primary goal is to keep the line moving as quickly as possible, so unfortunately we cannot accommodate specific seating requests at that time. At the box office, we also cannot accommodate requests to sit next to friends and family who have already purchased and been assigned seats. IMPORTANT: If you would like to sit with someone else, make sure you purchase your tickets at the window TOGETHER, even if you're paying separately. Again, if specific seating is important to you, we recommend the convenience of purchasing ahead of time using our online ticketing system.
-
Will there be seats available?NAHS Auditorium seats over 1,000 audience members. It's very rare that we "sell out." However, we definitely recommend the convenience of purchasing ahead of time using our online ticketing system, especially for very popular shows.

Tell me about Nazareth Area High School.Nazareth Area High School is home to approximately 1500 students. We are located in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania, approximately 20 miles northeast of Allentown, and approximately 10 miles northwest of Easton.

Tell me about NAHS Theatre Troupe.Nazareth HS has been producing plays for 100 years, starting with 1924's A Day in Dixie! Since 1976, NAHS has produced a spring musical each year. Under the current director, NAHS Theatre Troupe is an open program. Anyone can audition, and no one is "cut." We believe that the joy of performing should be open and available to any student willing to put in the hard work and dedication. Students are also active members behind the scenes, including multiple leadership positions, building and props crew, painting, costuming, running tech, and playing in the orchestra. Additionally, our fall play is entirely student produced. Student leaders choose and cast the show, run rehearsals, manage all designs. Most of the adult production team are teachers or alumni of Nazareth Area High School. We begin preparing the first week of school in September for our fall play. Preparation for the spring musical begins in December, and goes 6 days per week until mid-April.

Does Nazareth participate in the Freddy Awards?NAHS is a proud participant in The Freddy Awards since 2012. "The Freddy Awards program is produced by the State Theatre Center for the Arts, and culminates in a three-hour, live television broadcast to recognize and reward outstanding achievement in local high school musical theater in Lehigh and Northampton Counties, Pennsylvania, and Warren County, New Jersey. In a society where performing arts are given far less attention than sports and academics, the State Theatre is committed to bringing attention to these talented students and preserving the future of theater. It is estimated that this program directly affects over 2,900 students in our area each year. In addition, hundreds of thousands of people experience the students’ hard work and dedication to theater arts by enjoying the FREDDY© Awards Ceremony, which is broadcast live on WFMZ Channel 69. Over $2 million in Scholarships, Internships, and Community Awards have been distributed through the FREDDY© Awards program since 2003." For more information, please visit www.freddyawards.org

Can I donate costume items? We greatly appreciate community members who wish to support our program! Unfortunately, we do not have storage space to accept general items of clothing for donations. You can also place an advertisement in our spring musical program for your business, or just to give a shout out to the students. Click on the Support Us page for more information.
